Abstract

This research aims at examining the impact of knowledge sharing on employee performance in an Iranian organisation. Thus, two questionnaires for knowledge sharing and performance were distributed among 300 technical employees of TUGA Company (Iran). The one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. In addition, the t-test was used to determine the average usage level of knowledge sharing mechanisms among employees and their performance levels. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge sharing and employee performance. Besides, there is a significant positive relationship between all mechanisms (including serial, near, far, strategic, and expert transfers) and employee performance.
