Abstract

This research paper examines the complex relationship between Indian copyright law and international copyright agreements, as well as the influence of international treaties on the nation's legal system. The paper conducts a thorough investigation of the ways in which international standards affect national treatment, minimum standards, automatic protection, moral rights, and forced licensing, among other areas of copyright protection. Through the integration of case studies, comparative analysis, policy recommendations, stakeholder involvement, and future research directions, this paper provides insightful guidance on navigating India's changing copyright legal landscape. The results are meant to educate legislators, lawyers, artists, and consumers about how to strike a balance in the digital era between safeguarding intellectual property rights and facilitating access to information.
