Abstract

Intra-fraction motion between image acquisitions and treatment delivery can render image-guided stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) ineffective. The goals of this work are 1.) To measure inter-fraction setup error for patients immobilized in thermoplastic masks, 2.) To evaluate intra-fraction motion during long periods of time inside a thermoplastic mask, and 3.) To determine the dosimetric consequences of motion during treatment delivery.
