Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of humanistic care to patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods The patients with different degrees of liver cirrhosis of 132 cases were randomly divided into two groups (66 cases respectively). Usual cares of clinical treatment were taken in the control group, while humanistic care,on the base of routine care, were taken in the experimental group. The health education and care services to the patients were carried out by enhancing the quality of medical staff through training, paying attention to skills of communication and mental nursing. The changes of Medication compliance of two groups were observed. Results The observation group patients with liver cirrhosis showed significantly higher medication compliance after the adoption of humane care (P <0. 05). Conclusions Humanistic care canimprove the medication compliance of patients with liver cirrhosis, conducive to treatment and rehabilitation.
