Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of human resource management practices on achieving institutional excellence in date palm factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh Region. The study included a sample of 10 date palm factories in Al Ghat and Az Zulfi governorates. The study also aims to reveal the relationship between human resource management practices and achieving institutional excellence in factories, as well as to identify the concept of institutional excellence, its types, characteristics, and to shed light on date palm factories in Al Ghat and Az Zulfi governorates. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used, and the sample consisted of (93) workers in these factories. The research tool was a questionnaire that was distributed to the sample, Results; (a) The majority of the sample were from the university educational level, with a percentage of 63.5%. (b) There is a positive relationship between human resource management practices and institutional excellence. (c) Date palm factories in Al Ghat and Az Zulfi governorates have a high level of institutional excellence, whether in terms of leadership excellence, product and service excellence, or medium-level technological excellence. Recommendations: (a) The need to pay attention to human resource management practices and develop them and give them a strategic dimension that meets the needs of human resources and factories in a work environment characterized by continuous change. (b) Spreading the culture of institutional excellence and holding seminars and courses on the importance of institutional excellence and how to raise its level and encourage workers to be creative and improve continuously.
