Abstract
The digital economy has gradually become an important driving force for high-quality economic development. Based on the relevant data of 21 prefecture level cities in Guangdong Province from 2011-2021, this paper specifically analyzes the differences in the comprehensive scores of each city under the factors of livelihood, finance, transportation and scientific research. The research results show that the digital economy in Guangdong Province has a significant role in promoting high-quality urban development in terms of digital technology, digital industry development and digital ecological construction.
