Abstract

(Abstracted from J Assist Reprod Genet 2020;37:595–602) Despite advances in the efficacy of assisted-reproductive technology (ART), age-related decline in female fertility remains robust with an approximate 4% live birth rate (LBR) in women older than 42. Although a clear correlation between advancing maternal age and increased rate of aneuploidy has been established, whether or not selection of euploid embryos in these women would mitigate the decline in age-related fertility remain unclear.
