Abstract

Purpose: The aim of the study was to investigate the immediate effects of taping on physical performance in women with flexible hallux valgus. Material and Methods: Forty voluntary women with hallux valgus included in the study. Individuals carried out the timed-performance activities barefoot. The 10-meter walk test was used to reflect walking speed and 10 stairs ascent time was recorded. Each measurement was repeated three times and the average of three measurements were recorded. Individuals performed the timed-performance tests before and after taping and the differences between the measurements were compared.
