The image of the town in the dialogue of cultures: experience of a semiotic guide to civil diplomacy (through the example of Samarkand)

Abstract

The review provides an overview of the culturological experience of considering the city not only within its historical, cultural and geographical space, but also the transmission of cultural images through social practice and intercultural communication. The method of presenting information as a kind of semiotic guide is an original scientific and methodological scheme for understanding the cultural space of the city in cultural anthropology (on the example of Samarkand).
