Abstract

During a recent visit to Berlin I examined the types of three species of Thelypteridaceae in the Willdenow Herbarium that have been variously misinterpreted in the past. As a result of my study of these species and of past misidentifications, I here publish the new combinations Amphineuron terminans (Hooker) Holtt. and Christella prolixa (Willd.) Holtt. My thanks are due to Dr. Th. Eckardt, Director of the Botanical Museum at Berlin-Dahlem, for permission to study the Willdenow types, and to Dr. D. E. Meyer for much kind help during my visit.
