Abstract

Data on the gastric retentive characteristics of the HBS™ with diazepam are presented. Data to support the mechanism of drug release for chlordiazepoxide from an HBS™ system are also presented, as well as the blood level-time profiles for both drugs. The majority of data has been previously used to support the advertising of Valrelease™ to the medical profession.
