Abstract
Hybrid bracket setup combines brackets with different slot sizes and prescriptions to address clinical problems that require extensive wire bending or complex treatment mechanics. At the same time, bracket positioning can be modified or compensated to improve treatment outcomes. These alterations are quite helpful in clinical problems in which straightwire edgewise appliances also need some wire bending or other complex treatment mechanics. This paper aims to review the basis of a hybrid bracket setup.
