Abstract
The article examines the spiritual analysis of the opposition between Christianity and socialism, carried out in the book of the Holy Martyr John Vostorgov, which belongs to the number of classical Christian works on this topic, but still, unfortunately, remains known only to specialists. Overcoming many myths that exist in our time, the work of pr. John Vostorgov vividly shows the spiritual incompatibility of socialism and Christianity.
