Abstract

Thermodynamics functions of dense matter with baryon density have been calculated using AdS/CFT duality. The confining phase of the near-extremal AdS6 background constructed from the intersecting brane configuration has been considered. The obtained results have been compared with the critical ones obtained using the Sakai–Sugimoto or Klebanov–Strassler models. Our results show that at large Nc and low baryon density the baryon–baryon interaction is repulsive as expected. Also a dynamical baryon has been considered in this model and its binding energy has been calculated. Results show that the baryon binding energy for our configuration is roughly 2.74 GeV. Moreover, the mass of quarks that composed the dynamical baryon has been approximated at roughly 372 MeV.
