Abstract
Abstract This book is divided into three main parts. The first describes Norwegian population growth and emigration up to World War I. The second part sets forth trends in agriculture and manufacturing during the first half of the nineteenth century. Thirdly, a description of economic developments and industrialisation after 1850 is given.
