Abstract

A theoretical social study using the content analysis method of the most important works of Dr. Ali Al-Wardi, in addition to reviewing the opinions of some of those who wrote about him in an attempt to reveal one of the most important research methods in sociology, which is the historical approach, and Al-Wardi’s use of this approach in his study of Iraqi society and the analysis of social phenomena by following up on their history. Therefore, this study begins with an introductory introduction that clarifies its importance, its aim, and the problem it is trying to address, and then clarifications of the study's basic concepts, methodology, history, and the historical method.
