Abstract

A novel 3D Er–Cu heteronuclear coordination polymer, {[Er 2Cu 3L 6]·7H 2O} n (H 2L=iminodiacetic acid), containing large amount of spacious channels was synthesized. Its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. The highly stable skeleton and the adsorption performance of this polymer were demonstrated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis.
