Abstract

HEALTH, it has been said, is like peace, in that both are indivisible. As nurses are well aware, the world cannot attain real health as long as it remains part well, part sick. To carry into action these fundamental truths, representatives of sixty-four nations gathered in New York City last year for the International Health Conference. This group worked out in committee meetings, in private discussions, and in general sessions the constitution of the WHO, document which Dr. Thomas A.
