Abstract

The industrial worker spends a significant amount of time on the job. Therefore, the work place provides an opportunity for the assessment of health needs and the provision of health promotion services. This descriptive survey involved the exploration of the health needs of the employees of small companies with 100 or less employees in a major metropolitan area. As a result of this survey, the authors developed a consulting service to meet employee health needs which were identified.
