Abstract

The hard QCD contribution to the nucleon structure functions at x→1 expressed in terms of the V-A projection of the nucleon wave function has been obtained in the framework of the quark-parton model in the infinite momentum frame. Comparison with experiment shows that for any reasonable nucleon wave function the data cannot be described by hard QCD contributions.
