Abstract

The influence of nonlinear magnon-phonon interaction (MPI) on the relaxation and the parametric excitation of magnons in antiferromagnets is investigated. It is shown that MPI is responsible for the relaxation of magnons at moderate fields, jump-like character hard excitation of magnons and the phonon generation onthe pumping frequency.
