Abstract

Spectroscopic variations of Hα line profiles from 9 B-emission (Be) stars in the southern sky, taken from the 5th revised of Bright Star Catalogue year 1991, are analyzed. These variations, emission and/or absorption lines, are due to the presence of the circumstellar envelopes surrounding the stars and also describe the phase changing/evolution phases of the stellar spectra if we Have data for some years. Therefore, we compare the spectra to data from BeSS database and references for the recent years. Five stars show double-peaked emission line profile of Hα. One star shows Be phase with a single peaked Hα emission line, and three stars show evolution phases of the Hα line profile. By studying this evolution of the line variations, we can fit the suitable envelope models for each star taken from references.
