Abstract

Abstract Studies to obtain large amount of high-Tc phase (≈ 110 K ) of the Bi Pb Sr Ca Cu O films have been made. Superconducting films with Tc (onset) about 115 K and Tc (zero) at 98 K and 110 K were form on (001) MgO single crystal substrate by spray pyrolysis and RF magnetron sputtering, respectively. X-ray diffraction shows that there are three different phases existed in films prepared by RF magnetron sputtering method. The composition of film was analyzed by ICPAES. It is found that the films composition is the dominate factor to obtain large amount of high Tc phase for samples heat treatment in air for less than 20 hrs.
