Abstract
The article presents for the first time the data on the species diversity of ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in the western part of the Stanovoy Range located on the border between Amurskaya oblast and Yakutia. Totally, 27 species in 11 genera, 10 tribes and five subfamilies were found in the headwaters of the Bolshiye Tuksani River. Most species of ground beetles live in high mountain tundra at an altitude of 1700–1900 m; 7 species were found in larch forests, and only two species of the genus Nebria are associated exclusively with pebbles along the banks of the river.
