Abstract
Question: A 23-month-old girl with no chronic medical conditions presented to the emergency department for 4 days of nonbloody nonbilious emesis. The patient had decreased oral intake, decreased urine and stool output, and fatigue. The patient did not experience any fevers, upper respiratory illness symptoms, difficulty breathing, hematemesis, hematochezia, melena, or diarrhea. The physical examination did not reveal any peritoneal signs. An abdominal radiograph revealed multiple radiopaque beaded foreign bodies in a circular configuration located in the mid abdomen (Figure A).
