The Grand Tension and Controversy Over the Renaissance Dam between Egypt and Ethiopia

Abstract

The right to water is one of the most significant international human rights. This paper focuses on the conflict between Ethiopia and Egypt over the Renaissance Dam. This is in the context over sharing and distribution of water in the absence of any agreement regulating the relationships between the two countries over access to water.
