Abstract
This article analyzes the strategies of post-military dictatorship governments until the government Dilma Rousseff to show the emergency conditions of public policies of social assistance in Brazil in a date/ dated political rationality and human life becomes useful and efficient neoliberal logic. To realize this analysis, we look at the conditions that ac-companied the emergence and articulation of a set of discourses (practices) social assis-tance the government strategies in today, identifying the event discourse from which it came to define social assistance. From Foucault's studies of governmentality, we organized this discussion from two points - that government wants to talk and government stakes in Brazil and neoliberalism. Thus, we pointed out as such proliferation of social assistance policies consistent with a neoliberal agenda, already announced and established in the country, which leads to life government.

Resumo Este artigo analisa as estratégias de Governos pós-ditadura militar até o Governo Dilma Rousseff para mostrar as condições de emergência das políticas públicas de assistência social no Brasil em uma dada/datada racionalidade política, bem como a vida humana passa a ser útil e eficiente a lógica neoliberal. Para realizar esta analise atentamos para as condições que acompanharam o aparecimento e a articulação de um conjunto de discursos (práticas) socioassistenciais a estratégias de governo no contemporâneo, identificando o acontecimento discursivo a partir do qual se passou a definir a assistência social. Com isso,apontamos como a proliferação das políticas socioassistenciais vai ao encontro de uma agenda neoliberal, anunciada e instaurada no país, a qual nos conduziu ao governo da vida
