January 03 2022 The Ghetto in European Perception: From Cities to Bodies Rossella Mazzaglia Rossella Mazzaglia ROSSELLA MAZZAGLIA is an associate professor in performance studies at the University of Messina and the University of Bologna. She has published several books and articles on postmodern and Italian contemporary dance, urban dance, and community and migrant theatre. Her research investigates the ways in which theatre and dance respond to social, educational, and political issues in the elaboration of their aesthetic forms. She has directed experimental pedagogical projects, including the Bologna Social Practice Lab (with Pedro Lasch) in 2017–18 at the University of Bologna, and Growing Up Absurd, leading a team of researchers and artists in Messina in 2016.
