Abstract

The GET electronics with the AsAd front end (based on AGET chips) was used to read out the auxiliary CeBr3 scintillation detectors of the SpecMAT active target. This article describes the influence of configurable parameters of the GET electronics on the recorded pulse-height γ-ray energy spectra. The lowest FWHM energy resolution is reported for sampling frequency in the range of 20–60 MS/s.
