Abstract

We construct a supersymmetric grand unified (GUT) model in which the Georgi-Jarlskog mass relation at the GUT scale (∼1016GeV), mb ≃mτ, ms ≃mµ/3 and md ≃3me can be naturally realized within the context of the missing-partner mechanism. Our model assumes the existence of a pair of superheavy families at the GUT scale.
