Abstract

The influence of the geometrical phase on neutrino spin precession in a magnetic field is considered. At large geometrical phase velocity the amplitude of precession and therefore the probability of a vL → vR transition are strongly suppressed in contradiction with the results of J. Vidal and J. Wudka. We propose the effect of resonant spin conversion induced by the geometrical phase, and consider its application to solar neutrinos.
