Abstract

The essential database is accumulated several times in the person trip survey for transport planning. In the study, the PT survey result is applied effectively for considering the damage reduction of disaster with estimation of sufferers in earthquake. The geographical data is combined to the PT database to specify the activity locations. The algorithm to capture the microscopic trip patterns is developed supported by basic function of GIS. The spatial distribution of sufferers in earthquake as a disaster can be estimated empirically. As a result, the suffering condition connecting to the urban activities in earthquake is summarized statistically. Furthermore, important problems are pointed out and future analytical requirements are summarized in terms of the damage reduction in as disaster reflecting to the urban activity with the motorization.
