Abstract
Only two Nepalese records of the holarctic land snail genus Vallonia have hitherto been published. Here five species of Vallonia are recorded from Nepal: V. ladacensis (nevill 1878), V. tenuilabris (A. braUn 1843), V. costohimala n. sp., V. himalaevis n. sp., and V. kathrinae n. sp. The species are compared with each other and with additional similar species. Their distribution in Nepal is shown in maps.
