Abstract

This is the second part of a revision of the genus Basiria Siddiqi, 1959; it deals with the taxonomy of the species with four lateral lines and an anterior oesophageal median bulb. Type material of nine species of the genus and populations of several species from Iran, China, Vietnam, and Australia were examined by light microscopy. The following species are synonymized: B. conura, B. obliqua with B. duplexa, B. citri with B. berylla, and B. paratumida with B. tumida. B. ritteri is a new record for China and Vietnam, and B. berylla for Iran.
