Abstract

We present a genome assembly from one male and one female Cheilosia soror specimens (the Truffle Blacklet; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Syrphidae). The genome sequences are 470.0) megabases (female) and 480.3 megabases (male) in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 4 autosomes and the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.1 kilobases in length.
