Abstract
Let be a projective minimal threefold of general type with only Q-factorial terminal singularities. We study the generic finiteness of t he -canonial map for such 3-folds. Suppose ( ) 2 and ( ) 3. We prove that the -canonical map is generically finite for 3, which is a supplement to Koll´ ar’s result. Suppose ( ) 5. We prove that the 3-canonical map is generically finite, whic h improves Meng Chen’s result.
