Abstract
Abstract The General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army recently issued an outline concerning the participation of the Armed Forces in the work of socialist construction. It called for each military unit to make an even greater contribution by participating in socialist construction in an organized and planned way in order to realize gradually the industrialization of the nation and the commune, and the mechanization and electrification of agriculture.
