Abstract The results of three-color photographic-photoelectric photometry on ab ut 400 stars in the galactic cluster M11 are given The cluster reddening is found to be ER-V) = 02 mag; the apparent distance modulus, 12 3 mag ; and the true distance, 1660 parsecs The ratio of the two color excesses, E(U-B)/E(B-v), has been found to be 0 72 The color-magnitude diagram for Mll appears to be consistent with present-day ideas on stellar evolution The age of M11 is intermediate between the Pleiades and Praesepe.
