Abstract

In this paper I discuss the radio structures in the galactic center region and their current interpretation in the context of possible counterparts for the γ-ray sources in this part of the sky. The EGRET source 2EG J1746-2852 is likely to be identified with the galactic center arc. For the extended source of e+/e− annihilation emission (Purcell, this volume) we do not find an obvious counterpart, though its location with respect to the galactic center lobe may indicate a connection.
