Abstract

In a recent issue of this journal Ostrzenski [1] claimed to have discovered the anatomical basis of the G‐spot. Before commenting on the specifics of this claim, it is important to very briefly review just what the G‐spot is claimed to be and what sort of evidence would be required to substantiate its existence. The G‐spot is said to be a highly sensitive area on or under the anterior vaginal wall, an area that, when stimulated, results in feelings and sensations of sexual arousal and pleasure [2].
