The music teacher might well be asked, and expected, to serve as part of a committee selecting the programs for a series, as publicity or ticket chairman, or in any other active capacity. It is vitally important that all music educators become involved in the programs of their community and that they promote these activities on behalf of their own students. Music-making should not be overlooked as an area of interest
