Abstract

Recent works show that the concept of fractal dimension turns out to be quite useful in description of colloidal objects. However, there are few data on the physico-chemical behavior of fractal colloidal particles. In the present work, the fractal dimensions of colloidal particles in solutions of iron hydroxonitrate and in the products of sublimation drying of the solutions are compared. This paper is the first in the series of articles devoted to the behavior of fractal precursors in solid-state processes.
