Abstract

The studies of service level and customer satisfaction degree have shown promise in the problem of the fourth party logistics (4PL) network design. This paper studies the design of the 4PL network, which considering the time satisfaction degree of customer with the service level provided by the fourth party logistics. We develop a mathematical programming model, which considers the constraints of investment for network and customer demand is met, to maximize customer satisfaction in the 4PL network design. Experimental study is used to analysis the influence of model parameters to the customer satisfaction degree. The results indicate that these parameters can be instrumental in the improvement of customer satisfaction degree and changing the structure of the network.
