Abstract
A Chou-Yang Type multiplicity distribution, which consists of a stochastic (binomial) component forz=nf−nb and a nonstochastic (negative binomial) component forn=nf+nb, is used to analyse the forwardbackward multiplicity correlations and the single hemisphere multiplicity distributions for bothe+e− and hadron-hadron collisions over a wide range of cms energy. Experimental data in full phase space are reasonably reproduced provided that themean cluster sizer is targetprojectile and energy dependent.
