Abstract

The complex [RuCl 2( p-cymene)] 2 reacts with 1-(3,5-dimethyl)pyrazolyldiphenylphosphine (P(Me 2Pz)Ph 2) to give the complex RuCl 2( p-cymene)(P(Me 2Pz)Ph 2). This compound reacts with ROH molecules (R=H, Me and p-Tol) to give [RuCl( p-cymene)(Me 2HPz)(PPh 2OR)]Cl (R=H, Me and p-Tol) complexes, which contain both Me 2HPz and PPh 2OR coordinated molecules.
