Abstract

The formation of a comprehensive approach to the post-war drafting of a new General Plan of the city, the design of urban development, the development of methodological principles for the application of the General Plan and its use for the restoration of urban development are considered. It was determined that in order to form a comprehensive approach to the post-war drafting of a new master plan of the city, it is necessary to take into account the experience of cities in Europe and the world. Using the example of the city of Severodonetsk, a number of steps are proposed that must be completed in order to draw up a strategy and plan for its socio-economic recovery and development. A SWOT analysis was obtained, which ensures the formation of approaches to the development of the General Plan on a scientific basis. Rational and economically beneficial sets of measures are proposed, which can provide the necessary comprehensive approach to the post-war drafting of a new master plan.
