“The forgotten” law university: Institute of the Red Professorship of Soviet Construction and Law (1931–1938)

Abstract

The article is devoted to a previously unexplored page in the history of domestic legal education – the organization and functioning of the Institute of the Red Professorship of Soviet Construction and Law in the 1930s. The article highlights the issues of the history of the predecessor of the IRP SSiP - the legal department of the Institute of the Red Professorship in 1924 - 1931, as well as key issues of the history of the IRP SSiP in 1931 - 1938: its organization, structure, teaching staff, students, the educational process, the distribution of graduates, etc.
