Abstract
Using Imai's general method of solving two-dimensional Oseen's equations, the drag and lift coefficients for one of two parallel circular cylinders in a uniform flow at small Reynolds numbers have been calculated. The general expressions for these coefficients become very simple when the two cylinders are placed symmetrically with respect to the uniform flow. Numerical calculations have been carried out in several cases for various values of the parameters.
