Abstract
Digitalization is the foundation of smart hydropower station. Some hydropower stations were constructed in earlier years. It is very difficult to carry out digitization. In order to digitize these hydropower stations, tilt photography and 3D laser scanning technology has been used to build the models of the hydropower plant and dam. The models are lightweight and rendered, the data are integrated from supervisory information system and industrial TV system. A flood management system (FMS) has been developed to improve their emergency handling capacity.
