Abstract
The cumulative yields of the isomers of 81Se and 83Se have been measured in the thermal neutron fission of 233U and 235U and in the 20 MeV proton fission of 235U. It is shown that for both these isomer pairs the independent yield of the high spin isomer is greater than that of the low spin isomer in 20 MeV proton fission of 235U.
